Rapid Growth Predicted for SuperSpeed USB

It seems just yesterday that USB3.0, properly known as SuperSpeed, was introduced. Already however, many manufacturers such as MANHATTAN have introduced controllers to upgrade your existing PC or laptop and a wide variety of devices. According to research firm IDC, shipments of USB3.0 chips will reach 12.45 million units in 2010. IDC also predicts that shipments of these chips will reach 100 million units in 2011, and 2.3 billion units in 2015.
